"So you're saying my family is abhorrent to you? Hardly gentlemanly of you, Kenzo-san!"

Kenzo shifted in his seat a bit.

She has claws, hmm.

"No, it means the thoughts I'm having would go from indecent to unacceptable."

"Oh?"

Her eyes sparkled with mirth.

"Of course you're assuming I was talking bad about the Shiba, you could come be a Daidoji."

[Shiba Yukari]

"Are you proposing, Kenzo-san? Seems a bit forward..."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"Wouldn't that be? Sadly they tell me I'm not allowed to have multiple wives no matter how much I beg my superiors."

"I would never have known, what with her not being mentioned until I brought up proposals."

"Shame you don't get along, but I doubt you need me to tell you that. So how about a nice change of subject... of the samurai you've met either on the boat or since reaching the island, who do you think would most support the construction of a small shrine?"

"A shine dedicated to whom?"

[Shiba Yukari]

"Well, most likely Suitengu and Isora- Sea and Shore- although I may try to find a way to fit in some space for Konohana, and we might want space for something more... forest-related, given the unexplored parts of the island."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"This small shrine is getting bigger and bigger it sounds."

He refilled her drink.

"I cannot think of a single person I have met here who would object to that, I imagine if you include Hikora then you would get plenty of support from Kitsune Asashi. I'm sure the Lion would appreciate a shrine to Bishamon, maybe a shrine to the seven fortunes is a good place to start?"

[Shiba Yukari]

"I'm just not sure I could... do justice to the Seven. I'm going to need to find someone to build the structures- I can do the artistic embellishments and the like, but..."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"Well we have a Kaiu Engineer here supervising construction, I'm sure she can be persuaded to build a temple if she isn't planning one already. But if you want something done fast I could gather some wood and maybe we could carve one like a roadside shrine."

[Shiba Yukari]

"Hm. Asako-sama might not go for something too crude. I'll need to speak to Kaiu-sama tomorrow..."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"I haven't met her myself but I hear good things, you shouldn't have any problem getting exactly what you want."

[Shiba Yukari]

"If she has the time..."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"Well, I'm sure gathering wood isn't going to be an issue, hell I'm tempted to do it anyway so they can rebuild this place. I'm sure you will get volunteers to help build the thing so really the only thing that should limit things I getting Kaiu-sama to design the thing and that can't take that long for an experienced engineer...unless she wants to build it out of stone. I'm sure you can find a way to convince her."

"Maybe I'll threaten her with a bouquet a day unless she gets it done..."
