Sure but she's still a person forced to live in the dirt and hardly eats (presumably). He is mostly worried about her sleeping in the woods alone, doesn't seem safe and the idea that the big ass boar he caught earlier that day might not make it's way into her stomach is also distressing. Kenzo is about as close to soft-hearted as you can get without it ruining your job as a murderer. Plus in his mind there is a chance that he is going to have to start sleeping at the cove to stop people from hunting the salamanders so he is wondering if she can just use his room.
