[D2 LE, Akari's] Friendly Travelers

[Miya Akari]

"It's an optimistic view. I can appreciate that. Not that I find it likely, but it definitely would be nice to happen upon those that have gone missing," she said with a light shrug, sipping again.

[Koumori]

"Not likely at all really. You're more likely to find fresh fruits in that forest than you are to find someone who had gone missing months ago. Maybe you could find their bodies, but you aren't going to find them alive." She grunted heavily.

[Miya Akari]

Akari nods. "Some folks like to picture a reunion rather than a corpse. Makes us feel better in the moment. I prefer a drink instead to make me feel better in the moment," she swished the bottle around. "Not that I have anything I need to feel better about. It's also a fun activity with friends."

[Koumori]

"Drink to forget and all, eh?" With that, she toasted. "Always the best way to do it. But I suppose that leads to the next topic. You spoke about nothing to feel bad about, so then do you have anything fun planned?"

[Miya Akari]

"I've had some fun yesterday and today. Spending time with folks. That is really the key... other people. Even when we are lonely, we can at least be lonely together. And if we're lucky, we get to feel close to someone that makes us smile. So no specific plans, but definitely hopes and interests." She smiled softly at the Crab. It was an appreciative thing, saying thanks for the company.

[Koumori]

"From the sounds of it, people are already starting to get pretty close to one another." There was a bark of laughter from her before she leaned back, relaxing for the time being. "That was one of two ways people were going to focus. Each other, or giving their all into their duty. To give them something to do. Preoccupy their mind. I think there's also something about how idle hands are bad, but I cant remember it."

[Miya Akari]

"They are," Akari replied, nodding. "It's not so bad a thing though. Far from home, family and regular duty on a strange island with a reputation for making people disappear. Enough to drive most people closer together." She smirked and shrugged.

"Imagine if we all just worked and didn't release frustrations? Someone might go mad."

[Koumori]

"Closer together they do get, but what happens when drama starts? Sleeping around with everyone is fine and dandy until you sleep with someone who wants something exclusive, then gets their feelings hurt. Goes downhill after that when you realize we can't exactly skip town to make it better." A shrug came from her. "Many other ways of releasing frustrations, too, but also they aren't as fun."

[Miya Akari]

"Yeah. It's definitely a difficult line with a small population," she agrees. "Persons gotta watch what they do and say."

[Koumori]

"Tell me, do you think they actually will? Or will they take this as some sort of happy vacation with all the hot samurai in the land and a bit of hard work between?"

[Miya Akari]

"Don't know. I know that I can be a bit over relaxed at times. But I at least like a bit of responsibility with my fun. But when we actually get into the forest, it will likely be quite an awakening experience."

[Koumori]

"It likely will be, but I wouldn't know. I'm not going into that forest since my duty is here." She said before standing up and bowing. "But, I've taken enough of your time. Thank you for the drink and may the evening be good to you."

[Miya Akari]

"You too Kaiu-san. Take care and rest well," Akari offers in parting, bowing from her seat.
