[D2: MA: Open] Painting with the colors of the beach

[Doji Hanatsuko]

Hanastuko sat on the warm sand and placed her materials to paint the scene on the sand. She took a deep breath as the brush started to make shapes of the sky and the sea. The girl hummed.

[Koumori]

As she began to paint, A burly shadow began to darken the otherwise brilliant sands as Mura wandered onto the shore.

"Anything good out this afternoon?"

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Ah..." She didn't expect the Moto. "Lady Amaterasu shines brightly in the sky." She replied "She is tending to the forest..."

[Koumori]

"She's certainly doing that. This place would be hotter than the Sands if it wasn't for this breeze and the ocean."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I can only imagine how hot the Sands are..." She nodded. "May be if you are to describe them I maybe able to paint you piece that would be reminiscent of that."

[Koumori]

He shook his head. "No, there is little need for that. They aren't my home and to tell the truth, they aren't my favorite place to be, either. It's a hot, ruthless, and unforgiving land. Here is much nicer and cooler."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I am going to assume that you are a traveled samurai and have no one place to call home." She had finished painting her beach.

[Koumori]

"Home is where I settle in for the night and in the people I keep around me. A building can be a home for some, but not for all. I'm assuming you have one of your own?"

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I like you, don't settle down in one place for long. Trouble seem to follow me and I don't really care anymore where I will be next." She looked at the horizon. This island is the new one."

[Koumori]

"Crane doesn't seem like it would be the best fit for you then. At least depending on how long you want to stay in one area." He said, eyes cast out towards the sea. "Traveling between the courts every couple of months or years."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Not only courts, I go where I am called. It tends to be just a couple weeks. When they see the garden grow... then my service goes elsewhere." Hanatsuko started another piece. "I just document with these paintings what I have found."

[Koumori]

"Yet I would assume that many of these people would recognize that if the garden is to grow well then it needs a caretaker to watch over it. Having someone create it only to then leave could lead to the death of the whole thing depending on the plants and their needs isn't it?"

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"That caretaker is not me bit the one who asked this one one to make it." She started with a hue of blue. "They are balanced enough that need little care."

[Koumori]

Mura shrugged and conceded the point. He didn't know much about flowers anyway. "So what do you plan on doing here on the island?"

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I am...here to get inspired... to make a fruitful garden." I also want to find that which I lost. "What about you sama?"

[Koumori]

"I hope by fruitful you mean a garden of fruits rather than just a flower garden. It would be nice to be self sufficient here, but I suppose that a flower garden would help with moral." When the question came to him he furrowed his brows. "Here to explore and help lead. To create a colony that might last forever."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I guess it is a possibility to make a nice vegetable and fruit garden. I have seen some interesting plants that may bear fruits." She nodded. "I would be interested to see if there are some edible flowers as well." As for his comments of his duty, the Doji nodded. "A strong colony need a strong foundation."

[Koumori]

"There are things that are edible in there. Gatherers have been bringing in berries and such and it's worked in our favor so far."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

Hanatsuko nodded. "Berries are nice fruits plant. They can also be decorative so I would talk to Shiba san and give the suggestion." The Doji wondered about the Moto's likes. "Would you like something special to be grown in the garden?"

[Koumori]

"No, not particularly. I'm content with what I have now and am not looking for anything more." He seemed to realize the time and bowed to the Doji. "I must be off now, however. Thank you for your time. It was a pleasant conversation."
