"Ah... it is part of my studies, Miya sama. I have to observe and be very perceptive." The Doji nodded. She wasn't lying. "There are certain traits that one can see in each one that you can note if you are aware on what to look for. Like this one... "She lowered herself to show the Miya the qualities of a good flower to transplant.

"There are a lot of things to consider there. Doji-san is very skilled. I'll do my best to remember," she said with a nod.

"Had you noticed any others flowers of note?"

"I think I saw some over there." She pointed near another tree. "I think they might be azaleas."

They moved to a clearing where the flowers could get sunlight needed to grow. They were a lovely color of pink. "They are lovely." She closed her eyes and smiled.

She closes her eyes when saying the flowers are lovely? Akari thinks. Something different about her.

"They really are," she agrees. "I'm glad to be seeing them in such good company too."

She glanced to make sure she could still see the ocean through the trees.

The girl giggled. The ocean could be seen in the distance. "Ah... right... they are." She slowly started to pick some of the flowers.

Again, Akari places the basket nearby. She tries to figure out how transplanting might work. But these were bushes.

"I... are there any small bushes here that could be transplanted?"

She tries to look for little trunks.

She moved down to the small sampling close to the ground. "Come here Miya sama..." She showed the sampling "these little guys might need a better home."

"I see," Akari said, crouching down very close to the Doji. Definitely in her personal space, but seeming not to notice because she was too focused on the lesson.

She pulled out some more old burlap and the trowel to very carefully prepare the little ones for moving to their new home.

The Doji blinked. She tried to slowly move to have some personal space. She looked at the flowers and picked her favorites. "I think Shiba san would like these"

"She will. She grew them back home in her garden," she said as she worked. Then noticed the Doji backing away a bit.

"Im sorry," she said, surprised at herself. "I got caught up in the work, and wasn't paying attention. Please forgive me."

She bowed her head in apology.

"No worries Miya sama. You don't need to apologize. You were caught on the moment." She was a bit uncomfortable but her on was well kept. It was weird to have people close to her that is not to attack her or be in her face.

"Of course I do. It was improper, and my excitement is not a good excuse." She moved to give further space. Then continued her work with the sapling bushes.

"I can be a bit excitable and aggressive at times. It's... something I work on, but apparently to no avail."

"I am not used to the attention. I tend to be alone. Not many people enjoy my company." She shrugged.

"Well I have enjoyed your company. So I must be part of the group that does," Akari replied, giving a grin. "Let you in on a secret? Everyone here is probably here for strange reasons. We all likely have that in common."

"You don't really know me." She frowned. "We have quirks and perks. I guess I am here for my quirks than my perks." As she took the flowers gingerly and placed them in the basket.

"That is true, I don't know you well yet. But people here tend to have been selected for individual reasons," she offered. With the saplings in the basket alongside the chamomile she began picking out some of the flowers for the ceremony with the Doji's approval.

"Being selected for a unique mission for individual reasons is usually an indication that a person stands out in some way. And standing out can be a bad or good thing, bit it is a particularly interesting thing."

"I suppose it is because of my studies about plants. My gardening skills and how I tend to document things." She explained the why she was probably sent. "I understand Shiba san has more or less the same inclination."
