[D1, LE] What a day, what a place (Open)

[Shiba Yukari]

"I would love to see it... ikebana where the emotions of the flowers have been accounted for must be quite something..."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I would be very honored to show you." She looked at the Daidoji and nodded. She sipped her tea and asked for a piece of melonbread. "I would be using local plants to make it. I feel it would be an interesting piece."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

Hana-san, has time brought you any more clarity on what happened out there, about the forest?" Bringing up their incident might not have been polite but he was worried about the answers to the question to much and felt the Shiba might have a useful perspective.

[Doji Hanatsuko]

Hana closed her fan and sighed. "I don't think it matters, Daidoji san." Her voice was still soft and sweet. "They probably were preparing for their nightly rituals as the night blooming flowers wanted to attract the night insects... It is their time." She opened the fan and hid her blush.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"Awful strong reaction to our presence for it to just be annoyed we were interrupting...what, breeding time?" He looked to the Shiba. "The forest is angry with us." There was a terrible certainty behind his words.

[Shiba Yukari]

Yukari blinked.

Not at breeding time- she knew that plants got up to things, in their various ways- but at the ire of the forest.

"We'll have to see if we can appease them. The trees, I mean... do you think it's our presence, Doji-san, or something in particular that we're doing?"

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I don't know." She lowered her head perhaps in shame or thought. "I just got here and haven't explored much. Perhaps they might be protecting something and are angry because people are getting close." The woman shook her head and then looked at the Daidoji. "There also that." How did it go?... that song...how can I have forgotten it. She sipped her tea in hopes that it would calm her headache.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"Either way, we now know that the forest is aware of us and is unhappy with us. This is a fact we did not have yesterday, some may have surmised it but now we know so now we can make a plan to act. You may have just saved all our lives Hana-san." Though his smile never faded the intensity in his eyes was a side he hadn't shown before. His respect and feeling of debt to the Doji was palpable.

Within the blink of an eye his usual mood had returned.

"The day has been long and perilous so forgive me if I have already discussed this with either of you but are either of you musically inclined?"

[Shiba Yukari]

"Oh, very much so!" Yukari smiled happily. "I generally sing, although if most instruments don't give me too much trouble if I get a couple of minutes to look them over..."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

Hanatsuko shook her head. "I..." She was surprised that someone has an appreciation for her gift. These two seemed excited for her to have such oddity. She shook her head. "I can carry a tune... I prefer the music that I hear... my travels here have been quiet." Even if the sailors sung sea chanties or they played instruments aboard, there is ways music in her head when plants are around.
