"They may both be fleeting but they are hardly the same. I'm no mind reader but I see the way you look at Yukari and whatever it is you're feeling about her is more than lust." He said with a knowing smile on his face. "You may not be all the way to love yet but you seem well on your way. For what it's worth she seems to be in a similar state regarding you and I couldn't be happier for you two no matter how long it lasts."

"I'm not saying it's my feelings are one or the other, but they can also be both. It's difficult to separate one from the other sometimes, but that's part of the adventure. Figuring out what someone really means to you," she replied.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"Well I can certainly appreciate that, that describes my situation with Hana. I don't exactly have the feelings for her that I do for you and Yukari but I have this need to help her. She isn't helpless by any means but she does need...supervision and friends. I don't know what the clan has done to her but it angers me that she feels so ostracized. She's so sweet and very pretty, the idea that no one want's to be friends with her let alone marry her seems impossible. I wanted to find her a "companion" but the one person I had in mind for her has either been sick the past few days or has less sense then me and went into the forest alone. She's so sweet though, I want to find a way to break the ice around her heart and show her that people can be better friends than plants.

You really need to come to the bar more often for our open shows that Yukari has been hosting. With Yukari's help Hana was finally able to share with us the song that she hears and it was amazing. Yukari sang a song, I showed off how nimble my fingers are. It's a good time. "

[Miya Akari]

"I'll find the chance eventually," she replied with a smile. "I did say the island needs more culture, so I'm not avoiding it. Just focus and intention have been elsewhere."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"I look forward to seeing what kind of publicly acceptable talents you will share with us." He began to run his hand up and down her back though he didn't seem to be aware of it. "I am going to look like a fool if no one shows up out here, this is not the kind of wet I want to make you. Nor do I want to see the report Kasei-sama has to write about me getting sick while being outsmarted by some poachers, though he would probably just burn it to warm some tea so I may be safe there."

[Miya Akari]

She shrugged, not worried about the rain. "I have nothing to really share of an artistic nature. I enjoy such things but I don't practice any myself. I always spent all my time focusing on practical skills."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"A shame, I believe that every samurai has a song within them; metaphorically speaking. Thought we have yet to spar and I've never seen you duel so perhaps you are a Kenshinsen or Sword-Saint, that honestly wouldn't surprise me."

[Miya Akari]

"Nope, just a student of the art. I have no great defining trait like that. I'm just me, and that is enough for me."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"No, you have don't have one great defining trait more like you have to many to put a finger on. It's something I can't quite put my finger on but you are very special."

[Miya Akari]

"It's not about what you can put your finger on," she replied with a chuckle.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"It isn't?" Kenzo pulled his hand across her back and back towards him. While looking her in the eye he began to slowly slide his his hand in through the side of her hakama. "I take that as a challenge." He said smiling, being sure to give her plenty of time to rebuke him before he reached his target.

[Miya Akari]

She took his hand by the wrist to halt progress, then slowly dragged it free along her skin.

"Like I said, not out in the open. Sneak into my room, drag me into yours, or find some other private place. Then I'll let you explore wherever you want."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"I wasn't going to go too far. Clearly I guessed wrong; no one is coming out here tonight. Maybe they fear the storm or maybe they noticed us leave the village, either way we should probably think about heading back."

[Miya Akari]

"You can dry me off when we get back, to return the favor of me keeping you company out here." She smiled sweetly at him.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"I thought you liked being wet."

Kenzo stood up slowly and stretched.

"Let me just be through through and walk down to check on them. I suppose someone truly devious could have swam over and tried to take one of them."

[Miya Akari]

She nods and waits for his return.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

Kenzo walked down the beach towards the little cave filled with salamanders.

You really are stupid.

Seeing into the cave was tough with no moon to be seen but the sands outside the cave remained undisturbed by anything but the rain and tide.

"I hope you all are comfortable in there, I must go now but I will return in the morning as promised."

He did not bow so much as nodded to the darkness before he turned around and returned to the Miya's side.

[Miya Akari]

"Don't be down on yourself Kenzo-san. The rumors because of my inability to control myself were unfortunate, but I can live with them. That doesn't mean I am going to do things that might result in more similar rumors," she says, starting back.

"If you have a thing for being in public places, I am not going to be able to help with that. But if you have a thing for any of my places, I am definitely happy to explore with you. Tonight, tomorrow morning, tomorrow night, with Yukari, just the two of us... as long as it doesn't interfere with duty."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"No, I should apologize, you have made yourself very clear. I just have a looser definition of public and private then most I think. Most people probably wouldn't consider hiding in a bush in a storm to be the appropriate place to warm things up a bit. But rest assured I have a thing for all your places."

[Miya Akari]

"If the bush in the storm had 4 walls and a door, I'd be on top of it," she said with a smirk.
