[Day 4, Early Morning] Desperately Seeking Salamanders (Expecting)

[Koumori]

It tilted its head, watching the two closely with its large, black, beady eyes. One single fat foot moved forward.

[Shiba Yukari]

"We wish to have a gathering to honor your kind- and to thank them, for those already taken. But to do that, we need your presence."

Yukari bowed her head slightly.

"Or at least one of your kind. The more... strong the demonstration, the greater the chance that people will believe when they're told you are more than simply food."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

Kenzo bowed his head to mirror the Shiba's deference but remained silent, knowing his uncouth tongue would only make things harder for her.

[Koumori]

Its foot moved away when she said she wanted every salamander there. That just sounded like an easy way to get completely destroyed and its beady eyes conveyed that message.

When she shifted to having just, at least, one, it paused and tilted its head the other way before very, very tentatively moving its foot forward again.

[Shiba Yukari]

"I can only promise that I- and this one beside me- will do all we can to protect any that choose to trust us. But likewise, you should remain wary of others. Can you recognize us compared to other humans?"
