"I prefer rainy days... not stormy ones... Days that are refreshing." She shrugged. "Warm days are not ideal for planting and dries the soil too quickly."

[Koumori]

"Then you aren't going to have a fun time here. Just casually rainy days are rarer than storms. Though, it's not even that hot. Not the coldest, but it's about average temperature down here, if you ignore the fact that we're swimming rather than walking at the best of times."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I didn't come here to have fun. I came to work... the duty of an artist." The girl patted the pillow book. "My duty is to paint the scenery of the island to keep a record of it. If my other assets come into play so be it."

[Koumori]

He arched a brow with that, but then shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever you say then. So what next now? Questions for me or not?"

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Are you here to have fun then?" She was puzzled by the Daidoji. "Or are you just like me here for duty and find something lost?"

[Koumori]

"I'm here to stay out of the Crane's sight because they're mad at me right now. And also for duty." He answered.

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"I see..." The girl gave a light chuckle. "We are quite the Cranes."

[Koumori]

"Eh? And what makes you say that?" He asked with an arched brow.

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Let's say I am not in good graces with the Asahina and the Doji." She just smiled. "I am an odd ball."

[Koumori]

"You act like it's difficult to do so and that half of the Crane aren't at odds with the other."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Yeah... but we are to keep aperances." She shook her head. "Traditions you know... I do not follow that so closely as others may do."

[Koumori]

"Yeah, something like that. Anyway, is there anything else you needed to speak with me about?"

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Do you have any idea on why your cousin thought I should meet you?" She wondered if he knew the other Daidoji.

[Koumori]

"No clue. Maybe just so all the Crane would know each other." He shrugged, guessing as to the reason.

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Ah... I guess or he had this weird idea that my gift should stay in the clan and that we should wed... since I was talking to him about going to a nakodo to find this one a match." She shook her head at the notion of being paired with someone who wants to burn the forest.

[Koumori]

"Ew, no. Definitely would not want to marry you." He stated stubbornly. "And who comes out to the middle of an island to look for a match anyway?"

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Yeah, I know, I wouldn't marry myself either." She shrugged "I don't know... maybe someone desperate."

[Koumori]

"On this island? Maybe. Could always marry that Daidoji that's around."

[Doji Hanatsuko]

"Kenzo san is already married." Hana shook her head. "Unless you are changing your mind?" The Doji joked.

[Koumori]

"Meant you could marry him. He's not my type. Hair isn't long enough."
