I will wait in the clump of bushes on that little rise at the mouth of the cove unless poachers are already there. Hopefully I am wrong and they don't use this storm as a chance to hunt but if they do I looking forward to seeing your sword in action.

He set down another crate and stretched his back.

Continuing the labor, she shook her head. "I think a sword will be unnecessary. It's not like poachers would be put to death anywhere else. And it would be an actual magistrate that would make such judgments."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"That may be true but there are worse things than poachers in this island. You're welcome to levee your katana in your room though, more of a chance for me to impress you when a bear or something comes charging it if the darkness." He said with a playful grin.

[Miya Akari]

She shakes her head. "That won't impress me. If I wanted an animal dead I would do it myself. Going to have to choose a different tactic if you are trying to impress me."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"Then I suppose I'll just have to tame the beast using only puppet theater. Beyond that if my sword and my hands can't impress you all I have left is my tongue. "

[Miya Akari]

"Well, just because a sword won't impress, doesn't mean hands won't," she said with a smirk.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"You haven't seen anything yet, these hands can work magic I promise you." he said with a light chuckle. "But you're the one with real mystical powers, enchanting people, knowing what people want without them saying a word, incredibly flexible. Truly a sight to behold."

He dropped another sack at the door of the storage shed.

"I wonder if there are any limits to what you can do. Not to bring to mood down but...I am really worried about Hana-san. Do you two talk much?"

"I've been getting to know her, I just spoke with her not long ago and she opened up a bit more. People have to move at their own pace, and they will tell you what they want if you know what to look for," she says, returning to go get another parcel to move to safety. "Sometimes it's obvious and other times it's not. But you also have to be looking for it."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"What if you are looking but are stupid? I can be pretty thick at times I admit it. I miss a lot of signs, it's why I try to be open and honest."

[Miya Akari]

"If you're really looking for signs you'll see them, even when they're not there. Not seeing signs means you aren't really looking," she says with a smirk. "A gambler sees luck in every round they win and misfortune in every round they lose. Even if luck does nothing to influence them. We look for things and find them, then we act on them, if we know what's good for us."

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"And a trap maker spends all day hoping he doesn't fall into one." He said returning her smirk. "Your right about acting though, by the way have you ever explored under the docks? I think a couple people should go down there and check to make sure none of the loadbearing poles are damaged."

[Miya Akari]

"I don't know anything about dock construction," she responded. "I imagine that's a job for our Kaiu. For now, we need to make sure they are cleared in case something does to wrong." She smiled pleasantly at him.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"You sell yourself short Akari-sama, you know your way around hard wood better than anyone. Did I tell you I've been learning carpentry and wood working under Yoshi-san? Kyo-sama is an interesting one, I think she expected I would be too proud to study under a heimin or something. She doesn't know that I have a fondness for them and a desire to make this place as great as I think it can be. Also I really want a bath house. What top on your list of things you would to see around here?"

"I like a good teahouse personally, but it's definitely not near the top of the list for things this place needs," she replied with a shrug.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"A tea house would be nice, rock garden or koi pond? Not that we really need a pond given the view we have but I think koi are lovely."

[Miya Akari]

"I'm fine without a koi pond. We have birds, fish and a view here, so plenty to look at without needing to deal with a fancy fish pond," she replied with a shrug.

[Daidoji Kenzo]

"I'm fine without a lot of things, I just think the fish are pretty. Are you familiar with the Ghost Koi? They are almost impossible to see once they are in the water and will eat other Koi so you can't keep them in a pond with others. I feel a kinship with that fish."

[Miya Akari]

"I like sushi, so I can't blame them for liking it," she replied with a chuckle. "But again, that sounds like too much work for pet fish. Let it be free to hunt and do as it wishes."
