Kaiu Kyo's nightmare. It's a mess and most certainly not up to code, but even with its thatched roof and driftwood and thatch walls, it's become a quick favorite of many here on the island. Stories are often told within its surprisingly warm walls by the barkeep, Hoshi, which captivate the small audience. The sake is lackluster, but even he can't get much of the good stuff out here on the frontier. On occasion, for special celebrations, he does have a hidden stash, but it's not something often given out and he has hidden it well. The food, however, more than makes up for the sake. As they're right next to the ocean, the fish are plentiful and so sushi and other fish-based dishes are never too far from the menu. Other things, like yakitori, are harder to come by as most, if not all, of the chickens here are used for egg-producing.
